MMG currently operates a portfolio of mines in Australia, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Laos. Our development pipeline includes several major undeveloped zinc-copper deposits and we have significant exploration projects and partnerships in Australia, Asia, Africa and the Americas. 

Our group is one of the world's largest producers of zinc as well as a substantial producer of copper, lead, gold and silver.
Our operating mines include: 

• Century in Queensland, Australia, which is Australia's largest open pit zinc mine, producing zinc and lead concentrates..
• Golden Grove in Western Australia, which is an underground and open pit base and precious metals mine producing zinc, copper and a high precious metals (HPM) concentrate.
• Kinsevere in the Katanga Province of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Africa, which is a high-grade copper mine renowned for deposits of exceptional quality. It produces copper cathode.
• Rosebery in Tasmania, Australia, which is a polymetallic underground mine that has continuously operated since 1936. It produces lead concentrate, zinc concentrate and gold dore.
• Sepon in Laos, which is an open pit operation producing copper cathode and gold dore. 

Our major development projects include the Dugald River undeveloped zinc-lead-silver deposit located in north-western Queensland, Australia, and the Izok Corridor base metals project in Nunavut, north-west Canada.
Exploration is a core growth driver for MMG, and includes mine district exploration around our existing operations, new discovery programs in Australia, Asia, Africa and the Americas, and project generation, where dedicated commodity teams are working to expand MMG’s project portfolio.
MMG has a workforce of more than 8,500 people. 

Entry level roles may include mining and process operator roles which involves the operation of heavy machinery/equipment in either the mine or processing mill.
