This is as prime opportunity to join an immensely successful and rapidly expanding company with multiple viable revenue streams. They design and build gas to energy plants and gas flaring plants as well as specialising in the custom design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of custom built diesel generators, lighting towers and industrial water pumps. Supply is primarily to resources industry clients and local councils. The company has outgrown their current premises and is moving into a much larger custom built home on the south side in the New Year.
There is an immediate requirement for a Technical Writer to be based at the impressive Rocklea facility. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the creation and production of comprehensive and professional plant operating manuals for power generation and coal seam gas flaring machinery. Your performance will be measured on the accuracy and effectiveness of the manuals, presentation and user feedback.
To have the necessary knowledge and technical capacity to perform this job you will need to have come from a trade or tertiary qualified background related to mechanical and/or electrical engineering. It is essential that you have an existing knowledge base, technical aptitude and the ability to pick things up quickly. Personally you will need to be well presented and organized with strong interpersonal skills. You will also need to be computer literate and have experience with software related to the task.
