An incredible career opportunity has become available as a Project Manager of Automation and Control projects for a leading global engineering organisation within the mining and water and waste water sectors. With a major focus of energy efficiency, safety and the environment they are well known in the industry for high quality, innovative automation and control solutions.
Role:
Based in Brisbane you will be responsible for leadership and technical expertise in detailed design for their MV switchgear products. Design Engineer is responsible for the timely provision of innovative designs and development of customised solutions for short and long term opportunities within the medium voltage product range
To be considered for this role you must have:
- An Electrical Engineering Degree
- Strong experience in switchgear design
- The ability to check and review peer designs prior to manufacture
- Ability and willingness to carry out all aspects of product development including drafting
- Demonstrable experience in meeting the project deliverable dates
- PMP or similar project management accreditation desirable but not essential
- Strong technical understanding of electrical engineering principles especially in relation to switchgear
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong customer service and client liaising skills
