Due to its continued business growth, AMMA has an exciting opportunity for a Strategy & Development Manager WA/SA to immediately join our highly regarded Media, Public Affairs and Member Services Division.
Based in Western Australia from AMMA’s Perth office, you will be responsible for developing sales and business development strategies, with a particular emphasis on growing AMMA’s membership, exploring further consulting opportunities and promoting AMMA’s services and solutions portfolio to our members and non-members.
Reporting to the National Strategy & Development Manager, your role will involve developing and implementing strategies to increase the member base, and to promote the Association, its services and benefits to current, potential and new members across the resources and allied industries.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for an experienced sales and business development professional, ideally with human resources and/or solutions sales experience with a minimum of 4 or more years career experience. You will have people management experience, strategic planning skills and an ability to deal with senior stakeholders coupled with an ability to influence and negotiate with a proactive and driven outlook.
You will be a confident, energetic professional with demonstrable experience building key client relationships and implementing business development initiatives with ease. You will have excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills and ideally an understanding of the resources industry.
