On site at Christmas Creek you will have the opportunity to train and assess our workforce on an extensive range of heavy excavating machinery including Komatsu PC4000, Hitachi 2500, Liebherr 9400 and our flagship, a Liebherr 9800.

Reporting to the Training Coordinator, you will use your knowledge of these impressive machines to play a pivotal role in ensuring Downer EDI Mining's high professional training standards are maintained and developed to meet our client's expectations. And continually promote our progressive site based safety culture and the Downer "Zero Harm" Safety message.

About you

• A Certificate IV (TAA, TAE) in Training & Assessing is essential

• Demonstrated experience in a similar Training & Assessing role, developing competency based training systems within the resource industry.

• Experience operating and training on heavy Excavating and ancillary equipment within a mining environment.

• Sound working knowledge and understanding of current training and mining legislation

• Computer literate in Microsoft Office; Outlook, excel, word

• Good attention to detail

• A team player
